Grandma Gumbo…. No good! My mother is from Louisiana and I grew up eating Gumbo, believe me the chef has no clue what he’s doing. Ordered an $8 hot link and didn’t even get a slice of bread.
They have New Orleans Plant Based items on their menu. Ordered the Gumbo Z-herbs, Succotash, Black Eyed Peas, and Rice and Beans. Will dine again when visiting San Diego.
All I can say is amazing. Crunchy poboys (even with delivery). Delicious corn muffins. Will order again.
Great flavor but could use some more heat. lol but aye that’s just me. Didn’t know what to expect but I was very impressed compared to some of the other spots I’ve been to. I’ll definitely be back here to try a few other things on the menu.
