I'm a hamburger guy. Can't beat that hamburger ANYWHERE! – I've been eating hamburgers everywhere in the world for more years than I care to remember. Any place I visit I always make sure I have a hamburger at what is rated the Best hamburger in town. If I didn't live in Chicago ( and I'm fortunate that I do ), I would fly back just to have a hamburger at Poag Mahone's. Need I say more.
Solid place – 1/2 price food just about everyday. Nice place to grab a drink after work, lots of traders and business people in a low-key environment.
Love It! Food - Love it! cost- Love it! Clean Bathrooms – Every time I go out and have a drink I find myself using the restroom and let me just say using the rest room at anyplace in Chicago can be a nasty event. But at Poag, thank god, I have only had clean experience. I know that sounds silly but I'm glade the people who run Poag's don't think so. Great place to meet after work ... – When you work as a computer consultant like I do, you need a good central place to meet your buddies after work in the Loop. Poag's is near enough to everyone and has excellent burgers and a good selection of beers. Nothing like a tall glass of Guiness to start your evening right ....

Great Service! – Great place to go for drinks afterwork or for a quick lunch. The staff is always friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you're well taken care of. They have nightly drink specials too, for those looking for a good deal!
