About this business
Pneumaticity was started in May of 2000 in the city of Thunder Bay. We opened as a hair salon knowing that hairdressers have other hidden creative skills that we wanted to tap into. Our experienced stylists set to work establishing their clientele in the salon & spa business. We now have a boutique element to our salon that offers locally made clothes, hand made boots and Montreal designer handbags and accessories. We offer wig consultation and fitting and we are also an AVEDA concept salon.

I have been going to Pneumaticity for over 15 years. Wendy is the stylist for me but I love all the staff. They are all so friendly. Highly recommend this wonderful salon.
If I could give them 6 stars, I would! I went here after a bad short haircut, completely discouraged and unable to do anything, and I was looking for a wig. Sarah was SO helpful and compassionate and Amanda was very helpful as well. I ended up getting a wig I absolutely love. Thank you for making my day so much better.
