I am extremely disappointed with my experience opening a PNC Business Checking account. I opened the account because a bank employee informed me that I qualified for a $400 new account promotion. During the application process, I specifically confirmed that everything had been completed correctly and was assured that all requirements had been taken care of. The best bank in town. Very attentive to your needs no matter how big or small your bank account is.
This Saturday I stopped by this branch about 45 minutes before closing with my elderly mother so I could be added to her account. We were told we needed an appointment and that the banker wouldn’t be able to help because she was with other customers and needed to close a loan before the bank closed at 1 PM. I keep forgetting how trashy this location always is. by trashy I mean they lack the most basic of customer service skills, that extends to the most basic of deescalation tactics. These people are the kinds that talk over the customer before they finished, they are condescending, and truly suck at basic customer service/escalation. these people are the bottom of the barrel of the banking world.
