BEWARE! PNC bank has lost their minds by overdoing things with security processes. My example: I just needed to replace a lost debit card. It took them 10 days to get me the card. I tried numerous times to activate the card using the three different methods they offer. They eventually locked me out from trying. (It would have helped if they told me ahead of time they were sending a replacement pin which I needed to activate the card. I needed to use the new pin instead of the one I had been using for years! The staff is very responsive and helpful.
I limit my visits to this particular branch as they treat their customers like criminals, went in there to withdraw cash had to show them, my ID, check card, credit card, then they had to send me a 4 digit pin, if I did not have everything set up custom I would trade PNC in for a pet monkey and call it a day Continuation. I live in Ashburn, Va. Today I drove 25 minutes to come to come to the Chantilly PNC Branch, as they again are very good at what they do.
