I was contacted by a woman to see if a property I owned was for rent. She said she had seen it listed on Trulia. When I told her it was a mistake she then asked if I had any other properties for rent. Eventually I got out of her that she was with a rental company (PMI) and she was trying to get me to switch property management firms. She was rather persistent. I did not appreciate the deception involved in getting to the reason for her call. Even if I were looking to change management companies, this tactic was off-setting.
