Toured a house one day after it was posted, paid to apply the same day and was then told someone had already paid the deposit before our approval even went through. Maybe let somebody know there is an approved applicant before you bring them out to a home and urge them to apply. Update: They did reluctantly refund our application fees after insinuating that we were lying about not being told about the approved applicant. But at least they did refund it most richmond landlords would not. So thanks I guess
