The owner of the house we rented through GOLDfeather property management would stop by the house and harass us about the state of the lawn and demand in-home inspections throughout our lease term. As a travelling worker with 10 years of rental leases under my belt, I have never once had any portion of my security deposit withheld. Around 9pm(EST) on the 30th day mark after move-out I was sent an email listing $2400 of damages being withheld. The touring process was so simple and it was very flexible with scheduling! This would be the perfect home for me and my children! It was clean and very “home like” at the same time. I look forward to hearing back from you all and hopefully making this property our new home. Thank you!!! 😊
Horrible customer service. I contacted someone (John McVoy) regarding a rental, confirmed that I had a tour scheduled, and proceeded to drive over an hour and 15 minutes just for the units to be occupied. I was unable to tour anything and unable to get in contact with anyone regarding the units. I called the personal cell phone number of John McVoy and the general number listed, neither of which worked. Save your time and money, this property management group seems fishy!
Do not rent with this company. GoldFeather is very unprofessional and does not care for the well being of their tenants. We left as soon as we found another place to live. We couldn’t leave fast enough. My partner and I rented from them beginning October 2025. After a week of living in the apartment, it became clear the unit they rented to us was not livable. We were approved for a rental home through Goldfeather Property Management and sent a lease we were genuinely excited about. Less than 48 hours later — while we were simply asking for clarification on very minor, reasonable items (basic repairs and blinds on windows for privacy) — the lease was apparently given to someone else without any direct communication to us.
