PMI East Bay attempted to retroactively raise my rent in Oakland without a RAP notice. An informal email was sent, in January, with a request to pay the increase retroactively from December. PMI East Bay seemed unaware of tenants law and needed me to educate them on Oakland tenants rights, despite being the professionals. Additionally, they have not adhered to the conditions of my original lease agreement, have not made requested repairs and are inconsistent with communication.
