I would like to comment about Plumas Garden Apt. The place is very filthy. The security is terrible! There are NO Locks on the outside doors coming into each building. Anyone can just walk into the building and break into the apartments. No cameras, no night watchmen or security guards at all on the premises. The paint has lead and there is asbestos all over the property. After you have paid your deposits and rent then you are told about the asbestos and lead. Nicest Place in Reno for the money!! they love your pets; Kelly, the current manager has always gone out of her way to be considerate and fair. She really manages the place well, with the help of Bill (long time maintenance man, since at least 1986) and another great new guy. I am needing to leave here again, this time for health reasons to live nearer my son in Southern NV .. but Ive lived here 2 time previously, and always loved it!! All needs are met immediately. This is one of the best complexes in Reno. Although its a little older, the apartments (especially the studios) are very spacious and nice. The lady who works in the office is the NICEST apartment manager I have ever dealt with... she is very sweet and understanding and always knows your name and apartment number without having to ask! Great pool and friendly residents!
