Even though this happened a few years ago my experience is still is a nightmare every time I look at my right foot. I went into surgery to have a bunion removed from my right big toe. About five days later I was in the office for the doctor to examine my foot post surgery. It wasn't Dr. Plotkin it was a different doctor and when we unwrapped the dressing to look at my toe it was infected. I was put on antibiotics and that didn't work so surprise!!
