I highly recomend Pleasanton Auto Repair! Jim is an honest, no-nosense mechanic, who will give you the best deal possible. He will even let you know if the expense is not worth it -- get a new car. Mechanic work is his passion and he has extensive experience. He will do whatever it takes for you to be safe on the road! I trust Jim to give me his honest opinion.

I’ve been taking my cars to Jim for close to 20 years. He always knows what’s wrong and fixes it quick and inexpensive. My daughter is old enough to drive and has a car. When it broke, I took it to Jim. My daughter was scared to pick it up cause she would have to talk with the mechanic - but when she got home the first thing she said was Jim is really nice!!

My neighbor recommended I take my cars to Jim I'm guessing about 8 years ago, and I've been taking all three cars to him ever since. He's always been able to fix whatever problems I've had for a fair price. I recently brought my 2012 Toyota Prius in, and he was able to look up the failure and let me know that this problem was covered by Toyota. So off I went and Jim saved me probably around $3,000 bucks! Great guy to talk to, and will always steer you straight on whether or not you really need to make a repair.

I have known Jim Bowen for over 50 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else for repair work. Jim is fast and pricing is very fair. I have saved thousands of dollars over what I woyuld have paid at the dealer.
