Towed our car from Portland street parking. The car was parked illegally, it was our fault- however, they quoted one price on the phone for pickup, then charged twice that much. No receipt was given for the tow (they required payment in cash), and there was no explanation for the amount. The city of Portland sets rates for the tow, and what they charged was substantially higher than that. We are reporting them to the city, but beware- they will take advantage in any way possible. Anyone who doesn't leave these guys 1 star should be investigated by the police.
What a bunch of crooks, called to get price and was told $175 when I go there told $220 for after hours picked up within I was told to be there before 7 to not get the fee and wouldn't let me take without paying in full. When i called to request my $45 back was told I actually shorted them as I should have paid a storage fee of $50 and said person on phone should have told me any prices. He was extremely rude...I would never do business with this company.
These people are extortionists and made me run to the bank on a torn acl to get him 50 to not tow my car, everyone who works here is going to die alone and get reincarnated as mold.
