Make sure you bait your unit, use plastic totes and maybe even put your stuff on pallets. No one can control mice or insects but it’d be nice to be warned. I’m leaving with less stuff than I came with. This one star isn’t to get “what i want”. Ive spoken to owner no pro rate or refund which is okay. My items are irreplaceable but if this will save someone else from the heartache of losing stuff of high sentimental value so be it.
Went with my sister to her storage unit that she used to store safely all of her grandmothers clothes and belongings cleared from her home after her passing. I initially went with her to look at her unit to rent one myself. As we opened her unit it smelt of dead animal once we started opening boxes. My sister is devastated because the items ruined are irreplaceable. She did however purchase insurance as well and paid her unit in full for a full year. It was great at first then the place just wouldnt accept i left and i got all my stuff out and told them when i did and they wouldnt cut the lock when i told them way before my month was up and waited till there was stuff in there from the person who was supposed to take the lock off and want to charge me for it. Go figure. Also moved outa town way to far to drive there. Especially when they are more then capable of removing a lock when i said something more then a week before the next payment was due.
Place is great people not so much not recommended any longer
