After four decades of Video Gaming a few things are clear to us: Arcade games must be played in their original format- joysticks, buttons, and a lo-rez tv screen in a big custom cabinet! Playing online has it's drawbacks, nothing beats playing against opponents sitting across the room. From out of town. Amazing Place. Definitely lived up to my expectations. Staff was very helpful. Great selection of of retro arcade games and beer. Really enjoyed it.
I’ve come back 5 years after my original 5 star review to update it. Look there are a ton of places to go near the attractions for drinks and fun but let me say this, they don’t compare. I think one of the most underrated aspects of this place is the beer selection. It’s not just another nostalgia inducing video game bar. It’s actually a craft beer bar that has games. Thank you for the awesome experience, eventhough im on vacacions for just a bit more than a week, its nice to know there are still some cool places to hang out. I gutted because I'm out of town and haven't been able to go to Player 1 for 2 whole days and have another 2 days to go, after having been every day for a week since opening. I'll be back Thursday guys!!!
Love the place, I just wish they had some sort of cup holder or table next to the arcade cabinets to hold my beer. Will be becoming a member next week.
I was given your business card at Bellecon last weekend and I have to say, I am SUPER excited for your establishment!
