Player 1 is the ultimate video game lounge experience! After four decades of Video Gaming a few things are clear to us: Arcade games must be played in their original format- joysticks, buttons, and a lo-rez tv screen in a big custom cabinet! Playing online has it's drawbacks, nothing beats playing against opponents sitting across the room. Video Games deserve a place to celebrate the art and history of the #1 form of entertainment in the world. We like Beer...ales to lagers and everything in between!

Great servers, atmosphere, and video games. However, the "promised" Pokémon GO lures were supposed to be placed every hour. The lures stopped 3 hours before the bar closed. Very disappointing for Pokémon GO players, but it was an all around great experience. Also, if you want a great bartender, look for Katie. She will make awesome drinks and is very pleasant to talk with.

If I could give it a ZERO I would... I will never ever ever go back again and I will be calling first thing tomorrow. Here is why: My boyfriend and I love to go and play video games and drink. We open a tab, and in order to play Xbox we have to keep a tab open to be able to use it. No charge. WELL...I went to close my tab and I receive the check, the bill came out to be 25$!!! I had only two drinks that were $5 each. And my boyfriend one for $5. They added $5 for Xbox and added an extra $5 for an hour extra usage. We played ... read more
All in all I'd say that it's a pretty nice place. The selection of arcade machines is decent, and the available consoles are a nice plus as well. My main complaint is that some of the machines could use some repairs. There's a Neo Geo cabinet, but both sticks have issues. The left stick sometimes acts up when moving down-left, and the right stick is problematic when moving up-right. Yeah, I don't understand it either. The reason we offer a water cooler is because we don't have soda guns behind the bar, so instead of giving you guys nasty Florida tap water we offer everyone free filtered water. :) Sorry about the arcade game functionality! Easily one of the coolest places I've been to on our honeymoon. A mad selection of craft beers, friendly staff, and don't even start me on the range of arcade machines and consoles they have. A true gamers paradise. My wife would be a casual gamer, going mainly for my benefit but she adored the place as much as I did. A must visit for anyone going to Orlando!

I've been to several bars both as a customer and as a photographer for events. Player one is one of the best, most welcoming, inclusive and fun bars I have ever visited. After only a handful of visits I'm hooked, now I'm a regular. The games are great, the drinks are better, and these bartenders are some of the best people I've ever met. I made this my favorite hangout spot because I can relate with like minded people and it has Alcohol.
They had the best selection of ciders ever..i played so many games last night my thumbs are sore. Definitely coming back when im in town :) great service too
