Amazing property and I have stayed here several times. Jollina at the front desk is always welcome face and a lovely lady. Jean at the pool bar Is my favorite Bartender! The entire staff at this property are top shelf. I am a lifetime Titanium Marriott member with 1200 Lifetime nights and this is one of my favorite properties.
Bought a day pass and had an excellent time. Service was 5star.
CROCODILES in beach: Gorgeous hotel. Came here a year ago on a couples trip. Hotel does not adequately warn guests of the risk of getting in the water. No signs anywhere. Especially concerning after the fatal crocodile attack in Peurto Vallarta by the same species of American crocodile. Main complaint— Safety. Day one of our stay we dip in the water at sunset and we see something big in the distance. Elderly couple on the beach are shouting “manatee” so we stay in the water until it gets close to us. Terrible food but great location. The resort itself is nice and maintained well. The food was terrible all over. Even the fruit in the morning was so sour and not ripe. My buddy and I who were on a fishing trip dined at the seaside restaurant the very first day we got there. Since we didn’t have a reservation, the manager came over and would not allow the hostess to seat us at a table overlooking the water. We were sat at a larger table by the kitchen.
