I love this place. It has the perfect vibe all around. From the space itself to the people inside. Erika makes the shop feel like home and workers like Paige add such a lovely energy to the environment. It’s the perfect escape. Whether you’re new to the art world or a long time pro, Play with Clay is the perfect creative escape.
I have been for a few workshops throughout the years and have always had a good time. Most recently I went to paint some pottery in September for my birthday and Maddy was really helpful!
A bit expensive for the clay pieces you choose to paint. They can range up to 55 bucks for a bigger cup. You also have to ask for the paint compared to other places that give allow you to get the paint yourself.
I’ve been struggling with whether or not I should be writing this review but it has been bothering me for weeks. Sadly we won’t be returning. Ever. We were there as part of a birthday celebration and my husband spent hours painstakingly perfecting a mug. We left the pieces to be fired picked them up a week later. A must say it is a very nice place, the kids love it here. The place is very clean and the stuff is very sweet, I would highly recommend giving it a shot!
