Worst customer service. Stay away! – I hate having to even give one star but since that's as low as we go it will have to do. I have a playwell set and went to their trailer to purchase a swing and some brackets to hang it. There was only one bracket on the wall to purchase but seeing about ten others screwed into the various sets on the lot I figured any good business would just provide the customer a service and remove one and sell the other so I would have a set. Bad assumption. Not only did I get a speedy "No" from I'm guessing, Brett based on the negative reviews I've read but it came with a nice dose of arrogance and "How dare you ask such a question."
I purchased the swing and decided to go elsewere for the brackets whereI found identical ones online for half the price and decided to buy the swing for half the price online and return the one I purchased. When I went to the store I got the same arrogant attitude from Brett and he informed me he would be charging a 20% fee for the return. When I questioned this he pompously flipped the full-page receipt over and pointed to the fine print stating a 20% fee. When I pointed out it is says the fee is for consulting services which I didn't receive he said all sales are final and he doesn't have to return it. After letting him know what a pompous ass I thought he was and how they don't know the definition of customer service, I let him charge the 20% and informed my credit card which they will refund upon notification.
I'm surprised to hear this pompous a-hole is the owner and will be sure to tell everyone I can to steer clear of playwell (or at least the Pasadena Play-well).
Absolutely the worst.
