We’re 100% satisfied with the job that Platypus Painting did repainting our front entry doors and refinishing the oak threshold. They arrived at the scheduled day and time and were very neat with the way adjacent walls and hardware were covered and protected. The paint was sprayed on and is flawless. They sanded and put 2 coats of varnish on the faded threshold which looks new again. The new weatherstripping seals the doors with a perfect fit. I would use this company again. Platypus did a great job on repainting my kitchen cabinets and kitchen. The final product exceeded my expectations and made my cabinets look new and modern. Their follow up on minor touch ups has been outstanding. The team was professional, polite and efficient.
Our experience with Platypus painting our home's exterior was excellent throughout. They carefully evaluated and repaired areas of moisture-damaged wood and then painted smoothly with accurate color matching. Communication was very good, and any delays were due to a couple episodes of rain.

Platypus was recommended by another well regarded painter who had retired. From start to finish, they were responsive, accommodating and professional in painting the trim of my 1931 house. Their workmanship was noticeably better than the last paint company I used. They had great attention to detail, with excellent prep work on trim, windows and wrought iron railings.
