So, some of these reviews really had me up at night- but I just gotta let ya know how utterly happy I am with Plattsburgh Animal Hospital. We just bought a house up here (Lyon Mnt)- so we did not yet have a vet set up. Sunday A.M, our 12 year old dog, Murphy, woke up shaking and disoriented. I took his temp and it was 104!! I had scheduled an appointment for March 1 and arrived early but no one came out to my car to get my dog. I called the number posted outside for about a half hour but kept getting the answering service that told me "not to leave a message because they were too busy to answer the phone". To be honest it seemed like mass chaos and I'm surprised it took 16 days for them to realize my appointment was missed. I can’t speak on behalf of all vets there. But Dr brown was very insensitive when caring for my cat. I brought my cat in for behavior/anxiety issues and was searching for another opinion (I usually take my cats to eagles nest) when I brought my cat into the office I had already prior had his history faxed over from eagles nest vet, I was told to wait in my car for 45 minutes when my appointment was booked for 4pm.
