The apartments themselves are not bad. The manager Andrea however is a different story. For the lack of better wording, the woman and her husband (the maintenance man) are ghetto. They are from Brighton so as all people do they have personal issues with people. Well if they have personal issues with anyone a tenant knows, they are banned from the property without any formal paperwork. They ask for consent form to have overnight guests. This place is run by sick people.. Just as the previous review said andrea will use your personal circumstances to laugh and joke with other tenents... I have seen Jeff try to physically fight another tenent, they have verbally abused me, and they will invade every aspect of your life. I have found a lovely home and so will you... And it's not at platte valley appartments.
It's time for either a change in staff or this place needs to be shut down. The manger Andrea is a horrible manager who doesn't even deserve that title but that's what she is so that's how we'll refer to her. When maintenance is done on your apartment they enter while you are gone without permission and go through your personal belongings. Andrea will try to befriend you but in turn divulges your personal information to others for her own entertainment. My advice to you is to keep looking. We were looking for a great apartment complex to live in in Brighton and I found this one on Google maps. Let me start off by telling you the manager herself was very rude before we even spoke to her. Apparently we were parked in the wrong area even though they were all marked Tenant Parking and no one was parked there. She pointed to the sign and we looked for additional parking without the sign to see none so we parked next to the parking spot by the sign.
