Yesterday I had a seizure while driving. While being discharged, I was told to make a follow up appointment with neurology at UCHealth. However, I can’t make that appointment until they have a referral and the medical records from my visit yesterday. Platte Valley Medical Center has been absolutely no help with this. I’ve left multiple messages, I’ve talked with people and they just tell me to call somewhere else, or go somewhere else. Absolutely insane. Emergency services were not great. But the staff on the third floor were amazing!!

Since I had surgery there earlier that day and was told to come back If I had issues. It was the fastest I was moved thru the ER. I figured I woukd have been admitted but I wasn't all in all the staff were nice and compassionate.

I recently gave birth here (first time mother) and had a wonderful experience. At 2am we arrived at the ER door and a security guard quickly brought out a wheelchair to bring me inside. The staff was super friendly, alert, and knowledgable making me feel supported and safe. The delivery room was HUGE, clean, and prepared for us immediately. Epidural was prompt and painless. 2pm my baby arrived. I never once felt pressured, uninformed, or panicked. The free meals for mothers was incredible, definitely did not taste like your ... read more
