I get a collection bill for $852 for lab work done at my doctor. I guess my insurance isn't any good at this hospital. Dr Woods would give me a coupon to take to the hospital in Wheatland for less than $200. I guess the working class without insurance gets robbed. I paid in full to not ruin my credit. If you need labs you can get them done at a Wyoming Health for for under $200 and you don't need a doctor order. The hospital is a rip off and doesn't care about the health of patients. Had a bad fall in a local motel and after an ambulance ride I was given great care in the ER which included several stitches and scans. Forever grateful to Dr. Shotts and the awesome ER staff. Wheatland is in good hands with Platte County Hospital.

My son had a medical emergency on the way to Laramie and spent 4.5 days in this hospital. Thank God this hospital was there. Most folks have no idea how important these rural hospitals are. They are life savers. I am grateful for everyone who assisted with my son's care. From the ER staff and nurses, to the nurses who took care of my son after he was admitted, and to Dr C!
