Updated review: I am updating this review (from 1 to 4 stars) to reflect that Platt responded quickly when we expressed our frustration about the foundation issues. The head subcontractor himself came out to fix the work and apologized for the work quality (and a service issue that I will not explain here) and I appreciate that. Maybe they make good cabinets, but I cannot recommend Platt based on my experience so far with general contract work. Despite a lot of homework and clear input from me, there were multiple miscommunications and lack of attention to detail (old selections that were supposed to be removed were left in first draft of contract, my name was spelled wrong in contract) in the planning phase.
