Mean girl vibes all around unfortunately. The whispering under the breath is beyond rude, especially when we can hear you. Super unfortunate.
I brought 9 pairs of brand new jeans and 1 pair of shorts. After an hour of waiting they told me they will only take the shorts and gave me $4. I asked why they didn’t want the pants and they said they don’t accept skinny jeans. Meanwhile they have some for sale. I don’t understand why they would make me wait an hour with my baby for them to look at clothes they don’t even accept. Why not just tell me beforehand so I didn’t have to waste my time. I will never go here again.
Don’t go to this store if you’re a medium and above. If you’re a medium and above the items available are likely stained, anyway. Disappointed! I love Plato’s and this is such a big store compared to others I’ve been to. The clothes they have for xs and s are amazing and the stylists do a great job at picking out what’s in style for those sizes. However, medium and up lack extensive inventory in this store. There are amazing prices on very gently used clothes, I went to the back to school event and was about to get my daughter at least 9 outfits and 2 pairs of sneakers and uggs,5hoodies for $260 and the workers were so kind and helpful. I definitely recommend this place if your on a budget but like good clothes (for teens and young adults)
Honestly, years ago they would actually give you a reasonable exchange of money for your items. However the last 2 times I went they gave me not even $30 for name brand, tags still on items. Not just one or two things either. I wanted to give it one more chance from the last time I went, but I’m done going here. You’re better off selling your things on social media accounts or creating an account where you can post items. They lowball you and then sell your item for twice as much.
