Got good deals for two purses. I find the place so packed it takes a long time to get through the racks and isles are narrow.
I was told it was "first come, first serve" for dropoffs so I came right when the store opened. There was one person in front of me, and they told me I was second. No problem, I ran errands for a couple of hours and stopped by to check because I figured they forgot to text me. They informed me that their is still a couple of people in front of me? Hit or miss. Lots of selection and good deals at times but things are frequently stained or damaged. Went in a couple weeks ago and multiple items I liked were stained. Last summer I almost bought a swimsuit but noticed a stain on the crotch of it before I went to the till.
Great store to buy from, but not to sell. Really disappointed as I've sold to other Plato's and OUAC before and I feel like the standards and guidelines were held more highly. Getting 30% or what not of the price sold? I brought in items and was offered $34 for 32 items. Such as Levi jeans, purses, shoes. Each item was well worth over even $5 each knowing they'll resell for anywhere between $20-$40. Hoping they revisit their standard practices like other stores and have a consistent paying structure.
Firstly I want to say that I have had great interactions with the staff . They’ve been very nice and welcoming which I appreciate . What I had a hard time with is that I’ve brought clothes in to sell twice now and brand names such as Aritzia or Lululemon and some other non super expensive brand names as well . Some even with tags on them . But this last time they collected 10-15 items and I was given 40$ .
