I bring clothes occasionally and look around while they are shopping my clothes. The clothes I bring in are mostly all new (even if they aren’t new they are still in good condition) and I always bring brands like Nike. Calvin Klein. SHEIN. Alterd state and so many more name brands. And they always either buy one thing or pass on it all. While on their shelves they have 6 of the same shirts in a row and clothes with the wording peeling off and just clothes that look old and more goodwill quality. They do an excellent job selecting stylish, high-quality clothing, which makes it easy to find great pieces at affordable prices. Don’t consign here as it’s a waste of time. Just head to Uptown Cheapskate and sell with them as they’ll actually take your items and if the don’t, they’ll give you legit reasons. I’ve brought Plato’s items that were in season, in style, in near mint condition, and was just told they don’t accept them. Some are even things I’ve bought from Plato’s in the past 2 years. They won’t accept Altr’d State, JCrew, BCBG Max Azria, Cremieux, Free People or any other name brand I’ve downsized from my closet. When I asked for specific r... read more
