Spend Your Money Elsewhere I believe that Plato's Closet, Style Encore and Once Upon a Child may all be owned by the same people. That explains a lot, because the three stores are all terrible. They basically would like very much if you would just crack the door open a little, throw your money in, and then go away. Nobody needs old, tired cloths that bad.
Brought in clothes and there was a pair of shorts that still had a tag on them and oh they were out of style and I dang well know they aren’t. All of the sudden they don’t buy American eagle clothes
Everyone at this store basically turns you away. I'm unsure how they even knew what was in my bag because they did NOT go through it. I'm told they buy all clothes all the time so im unsure as to why this is constantly happening at just this location. I was there for a total of 7 minutes and I watched them not do anything. It is super disappointing.
My kids took there clothing here and they were like come back in 20 minutes., mind you we had two large bags. We then received a text saying that the clothing was ready within 10 minutes and they only wanted to buy four items. Now I know good and well it takes more than 10 minutes to go through two large bags of clothing, some with tags still on them from hollister, America eagle, forever 21, and H&M. Don’t go there !! They don’t take trash bags then when you go get boxes they said we have to stop taking stuff 1 1/2 before closing when I was just there and had to boxes !!! It will be a waste of your time !!! It was literally a joke.

This place is a freaking joke. If they don’t like the way you look when you walk through the door they won’t buy from you. I have seen it so many times. They send out emails saying they need jeans, guy stuff, and a few other things but when you bring them in they don’t buy from you. My stuff is all name brand. I don’t shop at Walmart. I don’t bring in stained clothing. There’s things with tags. If you are not the typical skinny, teeny bopper girl bringing in stuff you may as well forget it. I’ve had multiple horrid experiences here. These employees definitely need their manager present at all times. I’ve been talked to very rudely multiple times because I’m not a teen. I’m 25 but am very small and American Eagle jeans fit me the best, which they sell tons of. I’ve been talked down to by girls 10 years younger than me because of this. I’m done. Messaged them on Facebook and a possible purchase of a $80 Kate Spade bag, was left on read. You would think if they have the time to post on social media about their products and someone messages them about wanting to purchase aid item, would think they would reply and not leave you on read. Horrible customer service
