I brought in 2 bags worth of clothes, ranging from athletic wear (Nike, Adidas, Under Armour) to jeans (Hollister, Aeropostale, H&M). They were barely worn, in great condition, and trendy. They only ended up accepting 1 TOP, nothing else! Such a waste of time, don’t bother going here to sell clothes. You’re probably better off selling on Facebook Marketplace.
Walked in and immediately all the employees stopped their conservation to stare at me rudely with a mean expression on their faces like I personally interrupted them. They didn’t say hello or welcome in so I left the store afterwards because I didn’t feel welcomed here. Employees should be taught how to greet customers properly.
Absolutely Ridiculous Experience – Don’t Waste Your Time I brought in over 30 items to Plato’s Closet—brand-new WITH TAGS from brands like Zara, Nordstrom, Topshop, and Adidas. The condition? Immaculate. On-trend. Better than half the stuff I saw on their racks. They only accepted two items: the ONLY two items from non-trendy brands that were worn and used. There was an unposted or disclosed 2 bag/bin policy, and they took 15 minutes longer than the posted wait time and I got most of my stuff back. I earned $6 and lost an hour of my time. I recommend taking your things somewhere a little more organized and timely.
