Awesome I looove Plato's Closet, I buy all my jeans here, they have great stuff for cheap! You have to try a lot of stuff on but it's totally worth it, so many cute clothes and accessories!
Dont hit San Mateo without visiting Plato's closet! This store suits me perfectly....I dont know whether I sell more, or buy more, but I am in here a couple times a month. Management very in touch with customer needs. Always plenty of staff, no waiting in lines.
Loved it! Plato's Closet is the best used clothes boutique I've ever been in! The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was fun. There were so many choices of clothes, shoes, and bags all at great prices. I loved it!
Love it Whenever I take clothes here, they take $20-$30 in clothes, so I'm happy about that, plus they have A LOT of clothes, shoes, and especially handbags. If I go to this store, I have to be prepared to shop all day. Good finds. Good customer service. Highly recommended.
Hobos Closet Went there w/ 5 big bags of clothes. I read beforehand that they would not take anything that looked worn, pulls, holes, stains etc. Also that they would not take anything out of fashion (made more than 1.5 years ago). I then weeded through the clothes to pull out anything that could have possibly been considered questionable. Many new items w/ tags, others clean & folded. Not a bargin Took a Huge bag of American Eagle ,Aero,Forever 21 ,Hollister and Coach items to this store to make a quick 20 dollars...Girl who made it know on her face that she hated her job took my bag and told me to come back in 30 mins. Don't waste your time If you're looking to sell clothes, you're better off saving the gas money! I took a good selection of designer clothes, Ralph Lauren, BCBG etc. I also took some of the brands mentioned on the website, many with the tags still on and the others only worn once or twice. After waiting for 45 minutes for the staff to "review" my clothes, they were only interested in a brand new pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans ($150), a Betsey Johnson shirt with tags still on, and a Polo shirt all of which they wanted to ... read more
Great place Great prices! Went there once a year ago and it wasnt so hot. Now i found out there are new owners and the place is great! I sell all my old clothes there and they pay CASH! Got some hollister jeans for $15! A&F shirts like $10! I been to other plato's and they cant compete! You gotta check it out! I read some of the other reviews and you really gotta check it out for yourself! whole new place!
If not for the staff... I really love Platos closet! You really can get some good brand name clothes at very, very cheap prices! This specific location is a little less cleanly and organized than other locations that I've been to. It's kind of small on the inside too and hard to look if you have someone else near you but the staffs always been helpful and fast!
