I absolutely love this place!!! Best employees!!! The girls were so sweet to help with questions and holding my clothes while I shop. Multiple employees asked if I needed anything and if I was finding everything okay. The girls seemed to enjoy their jobs and all had smiles on their faces! I don’t think much of it. I just got home from there. Drove 20 minutes ONE WAY; so 40 minutes total for $3.50. The employee that I talked with was very nice. I brought in a bag of fairly new clothes that had either been worn once or twice and some that has never been worn. Along with a pair of “Joe’s” pants that had a $158 tag still on it and they gave me all my stuff back and told me the only thing that they would purchase from me was a pair of BLACK KHAKI for $3.50. Plato's Closet is by far the best consignment store I've ever been to! It's better than most retail stores! The staff is awesome and quick to help! I live in Granite Falls but drive to Gastonia often to shop there! GO check them out! I bet you'll find something you love!
This store needs to do better in their bigger sizes. Accept more and us thicker girls are willing to buy! *and not a bunch of crop tops* we want curvy girl friendly clothes in your store! Also the clothes you do have are worn out and faded, mostly because it has a "good name" on it. No. We want quality clothes that are cute and stylish. Maybe y'all need to reevaluate how you buy because apparently you don't accept very much, or accept the wrong things, possibly turn away the better items mostly for a name. Shame.
