We wanted to support a black owned business so we went with Platinum. When the numerous storms hit the St. Louis area, we had hail and wind damage to our roof. With the 50 year warranty, we were confident that our roof would be looked at and fixed. After numerous calls from my husband, we were told that Platinum doesn't handle hail damage. After a big storm, I had major roof damage. PLATINUM ROOFING responded immediately, assessed everything, and handled the repairs flawlessly. Great communication and quality service.
They told my cousin that they have a 15 year warranty. I had my roof replaced by platinum roofing back on April 18 2022. After the May 16 2025 tornado I called platinum roofing 3 times and emailed them with pictures and never got a response back. PLEASE PLEASE DON'T USE THESE PEOPLE OR COMPANY they are a rip off....
This company installed a roof for my 87 year old mother. A tree limb fell on her roof, no fault of theirs. She called Platinum and they told her they don't repair roofs..they told her to have the insurance man come out to give an estimate on what needs to be done..they were supposed to come out. But never showed up..they basically say they can definitely take your money to put on a roof, but can't fix one. They were trying to give my 87 year old mom the runaround.
