We are new pool owners. We just had Platinum Pools install a beautiful pool. From design quote, construction, to completion, we have been more than satisfied with the service and care we ve received. The entire team has been friendly while keeping everything very professional.

Run, don t walk, away from Platinum Pools. Our pool started to fall apart after only 5 years. \$42,000 and 7 years later and we are loosing all the tile off our spa, mineral deposits due to water in the walls, broken coping due to stress, both lights out and an umbrella stand coming 3 out of the decking. Owner Scott Waldo says none of this falls under their warranty. (Tile work is warranted for exactly one whole year!) Dont be sold by the warranty talk youll get from them, b/c they will do their best not to cover anything once your pool is built, even if its obviously their error. We had interviewed several pool companies and ended up w/ platinum b/c of their warranties which were heavily stressed by their salesman. On the bright side we do have a nice pool most of the time, but when people ask who built my pool I always make sure and let them know of my experience and advise them to check out other options b/c of my experience.

The presentation, salesperson and value for cost ratio. The designer was the most informative and sincere; he did what he said he would do. Thats hard to find today

Terrible communication! Met with the salesman then never saw him again except after a mistake. First the grout color was wrong and the whole back of the pool had to be re-tiled. Then the coping turned white and it all had to be pulled out and re-done. Most workers did not speak English and no supervisor was there. I guess everything was just sub-contracted out but Im not sure. They did actually fix the myriad of mistakes, but after the pool was completed the bottom was so rough that they had to come out with a special sander... read more
