Really great experience from beginning to end. It was also significantly more affordable than a visit I had at a different podiatrist. For the ingrown nail removal and consultation, I was charged $250 total. I let the doctor know about issues with painkillers and numbing agents not working effectively and he increased dosage. Try to avoid this clinic if you care about the bill. The business is unethical on billing. During the visit, the doctor recommended a pair of walking boots. Before signing the paperwork, we asked the front desk staff about the approximate cost. We were informed that the insurance would cover it, and no specific price was provided. Trusting the information given, we proceeded without further inquiry. I will not be returning to this practice due to a lack of transparency in their policies and complete lack of consideration and courtesy for long time patients. My family and I have been patients for over 15 years. I recently had to cancel an appointment on short notice due to unexpected circumstances. When I went for my rescheduled appointment, I was shocked to be charged an $85 fee—nearly the full cost of the visit—without any prior notice. I regret ever visiting Plateau Foot & Ankle Clinic. My experience has been frustrating and unprofessional, and I feel compelled to share it so others can avoid a similar ordeal.
