Very unprofessional. Before leaving to donate, I called ahead to make sure they were open/accepting new donors/etc. The phone rang over 10 times before I hung up. I decided to go regardless. I drove half an hour and got there 2.5 hours before closing. I still got turned away at the door because they had "too many new clients." When I explained my situation and how I tried to call, the only thing the woman at the check-in counter said was, "Oh, I guess there just wasn't anyone at the phone. Try again earlier tomorrow." I went to donate several months ago. I went through all the paperwork, blood work etc. When it came time to be drug tested, this big blonde nurse started yelling and said I tested positive for Vicadin. This is impossible because I have never done any drugs and never ever had Vicadin. I asked for a 2nd test and was turned down as if I were a drug addict!
