If you're looking to combine the style of a bed and breakfast with the amenities of a hotel, the Planters Inn is a good choice. Formal and efficient, the inn is lodged in a 1912 brown brick structure, but inside, is nicely accented with antiques and fine furnishings. Among the pleasant charms of the inn are a well-maintained garden and an honor bar in the lobby, where guests may avail themselves of cocktails at their leisure, then simply mark their consumption in a ledger.

Excellent stay. Beautiful place, great location. 15/10 will be staying here every trip too Savannah
Stayed here for our wedding. Location is great. The bed was comfortable and shower had good pressure and hot water. We had a window leak during recent storms, but they were quick to get us into another room and made sure we had everything we needed for our day. Carl the doorman was incredible. Helped us change rooms, gave us recommendations of places to go locally, and was a professional through and through.
Absolutely the best staff in hospitality service business. Front desk was amazing friendly informative positive attitude took the time. Valet a great group of gentlemen. From the young man who initially took our vehicle to Roderick. Pause of attitude took care of the luggage make sure they were secure and safe. Hotel could use a bit of uplifting but safe ,clean, and great location. Enjoy just sitting in the lobby speaking to front desk, as we drink wine and listenes to piano . Beautiful people working the hotel. Only issue, ... read more
Let me preface this one star review by saying the hotel itself and proximity to Bay Street and the Waterfront are very good three to four stars. But the reality of staying there on a Friday Saturday night is not good. There is a public garage next door and evidently there is a thing that the younger generation brings their cars parks in the garage just across the street and rev their engines constantly off and on for 3 to 4 hours straight on Friday night and Saturday night. You will not get any rest staying at the Planters I... read more
