This hotel is beautiful! I stayed here for a quick trip and it was perfect. The bed was comfortable, the room had everything I needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location is perfect for those coming to see beautiful Savannah. I parked in the garage across the street and it was quite affordable and convenient.
Stayed here for one night- which unfortunately was a Saturday. As people have mentioned the garage across the street is filled with kids reving their cars until 3:30 in the morning. It was so loud that it would vibrate the windows and would set off car alarms in the garage - infuriating!! The hotel itself is very basic and dated. The staff was friendly but will definitely look elsewhere next time we come.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Planter’s Inn. It’s conveniently located. The tour bus has a stop across the street and the Dot goes the hotel too. It’s within walking distance to the river. The service made us feel like we were in an opulent resort. Carl the doorman was especially helpful. He gave us directions and was super friendly. The wine and cheese was a treat.
You cannot beat the location for this historic hotel. What really impressed us was the outstanding service from everyone we dealt with. Kind, gracious and so very welcoming! We have stayed here each time we come to Savannah and look forward to our next visit! Absolutely love this place!
