a word of advice, if you are thinking about renting from Plantations at Haywood Apartment Community, I would reconsider. We got a letter in May saying our lease was up and out move out date was June 16th, and we had to pay $70.00 prior to that. Which was fine we set up a moving date. Well, We received a call yesterday saying our move out day was really the 5th, but they made a typo on the letter, and now we owe $270 for the extra days. UNSAFE! HORRIBLE! – In the words of a police officer, this area has become "ghetto" in the last couple years. This place is NOT safe. Within one month of living here my boyfriend had his motorcycle stolen and his car vandalized. Property management is difficult to deal with and little is being done to increase the safety of this community. Don't move here!

Avoid if possible! Really neat place (pool, tennis court), but excessive prices (not expensive... EXCESSIVE). My rent went up from 575$ to 685$ for a one bedroom apartment. Hidden fees on top of hidden fees on top of... you get it ;) On top of that, even if the buildings look new (roughly 7 yo), the electrical system already needs to be redone. Result : 3 apartments in my building add electrical fire damage inside the walls. Pretty scary!
