The local staff we worked with we're very courteous and professional definitely no complaints there and their communication was excellent. The actual quality of the workmanship inside our home was actually better than we anticipated for a large National home builder I guess a lot depends on the local contractors they use in the areas that they build. Actually the quality for a mass National home builder is better than we expected. it all depends on the local contractors in the area that Horton uses. One thing that's very disappointing is that they put speed tables in a new Horton development nearby but they did not put speed tables on the main drag in Plantation Woods on Tarsus Drive, and a child just got hit and struck yesterday. There are no sidewalks so it can be very dangerous if you live on a road that is a long stretch. And how and where they put the mailboxes...th... read more
BEWARE BUYING A DR HORTON HOME!!!!!!! Purchased a Dr Horton home 2/23/2024. They include a 1 year limited warranty. My roof started leaking on 5/14/2025. Come to find out the leak is due to decking nails protruding through my roof. Contacted Dr Horton warranty and they said they will do NOTHING to help because my warranty expired 3 months ago. What a joke. I have only been living in this home for 15 months and now I have to come out of pocket for a mold specialist and roof repair! I should have hired a third party home inspe... read more
