I had an appointment Yesterday 3/22 (Sat) for an IUD exchange. I was not really looking forward to the uncomfortable procedure but it's had been 8 years since my last visit so I did not really have a choice. 8 years ago it was a regular medical office, in and out, nothing terrible but nothing to write a review about either. I truly had a 10/10 experience at Planned Parenthood in Ventura. I went in for an exam to renew birth control, since my local gyno that my insurance covers decided to make their own rules- mandating a pap every 6 months, as well as making it very difficult for me to get my birth control. The reception was super helpful and understanding with my budget to make sure I could be seen that day. The nurse was kind and informative.
