Recently made an appointment for some birth control at the Redding, CA location. There’s a lot of bad press about Plan Parenthood. That said, my experience was really great. I only had to wait a few weeks for my appointment. I am without health insurance at the moment and my doctor would have had to charge me $800 dollars for the method of birth control I selected. Absolutely terrible experience with this place. I have visited this place quite a few times before and I really liked my previous provider Blaken Geisel. This time around my visit was the worst nightmare that left me feel like a trash. When I called to schedule my appointment I’ve been told the wait time is close to 2 months. A few days before my appointment they called from the office asking to reschedule as my provider won’t be at work that day. This place is a joke. I’m especially their Tele doctor. if you’re four weeks long and you don’t show up they just assume that you have a tube pregnancy. I went and got a second opinion come to find out there was no tube pregnancy. What it was was no heat beat at 8 weeks. I actually witness a young girl going into the ER saying that they were told by this clinic that she also had a tube baby because they could not find it.
