Called today to set up a new patient appointment for transgender affirming care (hormone replacement therapy). I was a previous patient at MUSC where I started my hormone therapy and services are no longer offered there, so my journey for a new home doctor has been hard, BUT Juliette who assisted me was very polite, caring, sensitive and very helpful! Don’t go to this PP unless you want to be treated horribly and disrespected. The older black nurse practitioner that works here is beyond rude and unprofessional, and I wish I had gotten her name so I could post it. I went to get my IUD reinserted and I was unaware that a couple months after I got it inserted initially they changed the years it was effective for from 5 to 8 years, so I thought I was ready to get it switched out and I wasn’t.
