Placed a mobile order in the middle of the day, during their open hours, and the doors were locked and an employee inside, intentionally ignoring me and others at the door. I tried calling to get a refund and no one picked up the phone despite, again, an employee being inside. I will have to report the transaction on my card now seeing as my money was stolen and they did not cancel my order or turn their mobile ordering option off. I placed online order today at 5:18 pm for Peanut Butter Power Up and l added strawberry fruit. Upon my arrival the employee was engaged on his cell phone, which was no problem, except he had not noticed the order have been sent through so he proceeds to begin the order while Waiting his personal device was ringing he did not answer it, however upon completion and him presenting my drink, I noticed there was no strawberry. If you have some time to spare, this place might be for you. I waited 23 minutes for my small smoothie, with two people ahead of me and one more waiting. During lunchtime, there was only one employee visible and working. To make matters worse, the music was excessively LOUD. I've been to other Planet Smoothie locations where the customer service is excellent, the place is clean, and there are enough staff members. It’s become too hit and miss probably due to all the staff changes. I get one of the Açaí based bowls usually and today was the worst one I’ve had from this location. It was barely halfway full, the based was melted and basically ice. Couldn’t even finish it. Extra star because they were at least polite. The owner probably doesn’t want to come back which is understandable. The goal when running a business is to ultimately move away from being an employee and just running it. Things were so much better back then though.
