About this business

When you talk about classic American diners in Seattle, then Planet Java Diner’s name has to be on that list. This 70s style diner with its kitschy, retro decor is one of the best known places to enjoy a good old American beer and burger meal. Try their fish and chips, steaks, and burgers or go in early for to grab some hearty breakfast dishes and a strong cup of coffee. The lively ambiance, created by the bright red booths, checkered floor and bright decor, makes this place great for a family meal.

Great nostalgic atmosphere (not fabicated) and the food is awesome. Great breakfast and friendly service. Love this find after living in Seattle 12 years

Unfortunately it wasn't their fault that they were down a bus boy and a cook. My omelette looked more like a scramble. Upside was the crispy hashbrowns.

My boyfriend took me here because I love Coca-Cola memorabilia. There is so much cool stuff! And they were so busy, but everyone did great and the food was amazing! Hopefully we'll get to go back soon

Had a good time looking at the decorations. The staff was very friendly and provided great service. We ordered the chicken strips and the Ruben. Both were very good. The chicken strips were probably the best I've ever had. I look forward to going Bach.

This place is amazing. Not only do they have a great diner to sit and enjoy a meal at but they tend to remember you. I hadn't been in months and they remembered my name, my usual beverage, and my favorite meal of theirs. Even stated they had been wondering how I was doing. It's also a great place to go on your lunch, even if your lunch is only 30 minutes. They are incredibly efficient. Highly, HIGHLY recommend this diner.

Hometown 50's dinner atmosphere. The owner actually served us and the rest of the staff were very pleasent and friendly. I think it was the best value possible before going to the SeaHawks game where my whole meal cost the same as a large Diet Coke at the game!
