This gym has fewer machines than the others but all is new location is clean and has a great parking lot.
I was so excited to transfer gyms until I saw this location only has TWO bike racks out front! :( the Bay Area in general has a big cycling community so im genuinely shocked this new location only places 2 racks. My last gym had 10. I’m just worried I won’t have a spot to lock my bike :/ it would be nice if the owner could add a few more!
This is a really great location. The machines are very nice and the staff is great. I had an issue where I accidentally left my medical device, which is a critical device for my health, at the planet fitness and it was accidentally lost and thrown in the trash. It was very expensive, and I was devastated. The staff kindly collaborated to locate it unharmed and safe and returned it to me. Bathrooms are still wet all the time. This is a huge ADA hazard and likely illegal.
This was my first time at the emeryville location, and i had a great experience! The entire facility was clean, and well organized. Haydin was the staff member who assisted me the most. He was super helpful, kind, and very attentive. I was super comfortable going to him for all of my needs. I will be coming back to this location soon!
