Should be renamed to Planet Fix This! It was a great new gym initially but now is in rapid decline. Machines are left unrepaired and inoperable for weeks at a time. Vinyl on many of the machines is cracked, abrasive and worn. It seems like there is a tipping point before they affect repairs. I.E. no repairs until at least 10 machines need work. Was in Superior, Wisconsin for a hockey tournament and hit up PF in Duluth two times for a workout. Purchased a day pass which was valid for 24hrs so got two workouts in the way the timing worked on the first and second day. Yay! Young lady at the front was lovely and quickly got me registered and paid. I’ve worked out my entire life and been in many gyms. Updated review - Got told to not "slam" weights by the older gentleman on night shift. Pretty ridiculous for a gym that allows a cable machine to go to 100lbs for chest flies per side. I have heard plenty of people actually drop weights a lot louder. I wasn't even being excessive, I was just working hard like I usually do. It was night time and if that is really the attitude that is being encouraged just because the gym is quieter than daytime, then that is ridiculous. It's a gym, metal clanging will happen.
