I’ve been trying to transfer my membership to another location, but they keep saying there’s a “system problem.” One time they told me it was already transferred and to wait 24 hours—but nothing happened. After that, they just blamed the system again. There’s no manager available to speak with or provide a clear answer. Very disappointing and unprofessional.
Seems like the gym is always packed. Too much demand not enough machines just a buncha useless row machines and treadmills Gym overal 2/5 bathrooms are dirty like a solid 2/5 locker room is fine 4/5 Definitely won’t be coming back
This has to be the smallest planet fitness I have ever been in. It's tight I mean really tight. Doesn't have enough smith machines, none of the hack squat or plate loaded machines. Also no incline bench press machine
I’ve been a loyal Planet Fitness member since 2021, but my experience at the Columbia Dobbin Center location has been extremely disappointing. On April 24, 2025, I was verbally threatened by another gym member while using the 365 machine. I stayed calm, filed a police report, and asked staff to review the cameras — but my concerns were dismissed without proper follow-up. They say planet fitness is a beginners gym but I’ve seen some decent ones that you could actually get away with but this location is the beginners or all beginners gym. They only have like 1 machine per muscle group cuz the majority of the space is taken up by cardio machines, lose some of those and put more machines in. The attachments for the cables are uncomfortable and they don’t even have a straight bar or a traditional v bar.
