Made a complaint about the staff making rude remarks then things began disappearing from my bookbag. Been going to Planet Fitness on and off since I was 19. Never have I had issues until using the Merritt Island club.
Nope. The staff doesn't give a hoot. The equipment is nice, if they don't block it off for a class so that you cannot use it. It's just not fun or friendly or easy to do.
Their membership management is ridiculous. People have to be there in person to cancel the membership and there is no option online. They even asked me to mail them a letter if I could not be there myself. NO EMAIL OPTION!!!!!! Since I moved to another state in a rural area where the planet fitness is way far only in town, they said I couldn’t even use the membership card since it’s not my home store where I registered at the beginning! Great! Big comfortable place to work out. Never a problem. The staff is amazing. The extra perks with the black membership, especially the hydro massage and the massage chairs are always look forward to by me.
Gym is clean, thoughtful layout, friendly staff, plenty to choose from for a great workout session.
