Always clean, friendly staff, could use more free weights but all in all, a relaxed atmosphere to workout.
Amazing gym, clean, most updated equipment I have seen and great staff!! The owner is doing a fabulous job!! It bothers me that all PF Gyms charge the same membership amounts but most other gyms have dirty, old and outdated equipment. This gym should be the poster for all Planet Fitness Gyms!!
I’ve had a membership since it opened just about. I’ve been a gym donor for good while, but recently started going 4-5 times a week again. Positives: - The equipment and the locker room seem clean. Cleaner than it was kept a year ago in some circumstances. - The equipment is nice and hardly ever broken. -The staff are friendly. Always say hello and goodbye. -The place is not overly busy or crowded. Most the crowd seems to be there earlier than 6pm-7pm when I get there. Except on Tuesday. I was a planet fitness member years ago so it’s really nice to be back. The gym and Shallotte is absolutely gorgeous. Very clean plenty of equipment and I love the black card member massage benefits.
I travel a lot for work and visit various Planet Fitness locations nationwide and must say this location is by far the best one I ever had the pleasure of working out in. Everyone from the general manager Emily to folks like Matt are very knowledgeable and helpful. Added bonus, this location is always clean and well maintained, thank you.
