On June 6th, my son and several of friends went to Planet Fitness to take advantage of the Teen Summer Membership. The self-described 'assistant manager' Zemarra did not take to kindly to some young men wanting to work out during the summer. She began to yell and accusing one of the children of being a liar because he could not pull up the bar code. What a horrible experience. On 6/6/2026, my son and his friends went to the Planet Fitness on Deer Springs to use the free Teen Summer Membership promotion. All four parents had completed the online registration so the kids could work out and stay active. When one of the teens had difficulty pulling up his membership barcode on the app, an employee named Zemarra, who identified herself as the assistant manager, accused the boys of lying and committing fraud.
